If that is your telephone number and you keep calling me as you have done on
Monday 13th September at 9.32am
Sunday 12th September at 3.31pm
Saturday 11th September at 11.44am
and every preceeding day for the last 4 weeks, here is some advice…
GET LOST YOU PARASITES!
Leave me alone, stop calling me and if I find that you are still calling me trying to sell your dodgy credit card write off and missold PPI crap again after 28 days (I registered with the Telephone Preference Service today and it takes 28 days for your number to become illegal to call by these people - you can find them at http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/ - it’s completely free to register a number) I will report you immediately.
If you get called by the number 020333017730, don’t answer your phone as it will divert and call out to somewhere that will cost you 50p each time you do. Imagine if they got a 1000 people a day every day calling this number? Nice work eh?
Avoid at all costs.
News arrives to us that the FSA are thinking of banning interest only mortgages. Why would they do that?
Yes, I can see that there could be issues with people that have no long term repayment vehicle but if I want to buy a house and know that I am going to stay there for just 2/3 years then I will not be wanting to pay more on a capital and interest plan as it will make no difference to the capital outstaanding in the time I will have owned it for.
Barking the lot of them.
Remember the big deal about being the launch of the new domain extension .co? Remember also that anyone in the know in the techie world was saying that it was the most important domain news since the launch of .com from back in the day.
Well slap me with a wet fish across my fizzog but what the hell has happened to it? We launched a sister site called guarantorloans.co and not a sausage has been seen of it since.
I guess its back to the domain drawing board so .biz, here we come!
I don’t know if any of you subscribe to Mashable, a strange underworld where they talk of social media and other dark arts, but if you haven’t seen it yet you should really visit.
They talk in earnest about interweb type things and some of them leave me puzzled such as “Google adds background pictures to its search page” and “Facebook adds a Like button to its homepage”.
I’m amazed that people find this interesting and yet, it is one of the most popular of the old web 2.0 blogs and you have to hand it Pete Cashmore, he saw this coming before everyone else so I don’t suppose you can knock him.
Beats selling mortgages anyway.
We had a little sabbatical in August time’ish but we are back, back with a vengeance and ready to start bringing you the stories that matter.
We have recently discovered that the ‘family guy’ himself, Terry Pritchard, is one of the people behind the possible takeover of Portsmouth Football Club and if the bid is successful, Terry will take a place on the Pompey board.
Now that is one board meeting I would like to attend!
